2008 “Show Us Your Shirt” Contest Recap

Before announcing the winner, sharing her story and of course her picture, here's a little recap of the contest to jog your memory:

Everyone who attended our 2008 Mardi Gras Bash received an Exclusive MCC Mardi Gras Shirt. Shortly after the party, we announced that we wanted to see what people might do with their shirts — take them around the world, show up at sporting event, track down celebrities, or something else entirely different. The winner of our contest (as voted on by the entire MCC Staff) went the celebrity route. Below is her winning picture and story:

"Here I am . . . "The Real Estate Junkie" . . . Kimberlee Frank, wearing my favorite MCC Mardi Gras shirt with none other than the FONZ — Henry Winkler himself! If you look close, you can see him running his fingers through the back of my hair for the picture. When I told him about MCC, he said, 'Ayyy!' I also told him that your company is the number one leader in commercial loans. When I told him that I was entering your contest with this picture . . . and if I win, he would be invited on the yacht . . . he gave me thumbs up and said, 'Ayyy!' again. I stood in line with over 300 people at Ron LeGrand's Customer Appreciation Day with your shirt on and several people asked me about your company. My picture is also on Ron LeGrand's website for all to see. The Fonz is still as cool as ever and still good looking. He even gave me a kiss! What a guy. Anyway, Fonzie was my heart throb and I enjoyed every moment I spent with him. Look forward to sailing on the yacht!!! All aboard to Happy Days!"

Congratulations to Kimberlee, who will enjoy a one-day charter of a 76-foot yacht for her and 20 of her friends (valued at over $3,700.00)! (We'll see if the Fonz really shows up.) Also, many thanks to all who sent in pictures! Below there is a compilation of some of our favorites:
