We made the INC. 500 list!!!
We"ll be somewhere on the 2007 Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. We don"t know our ranking just yet, but we"ll find out when the September issue of Inc. Magazine hits the newsstands. This is quite an honor for us. In fact, besides making it on the Fortune 500 or the Forbes 400, this is probably the most well-known business accolade there is. I"d venture to say it"s the most prestigious award for owners of small businesses. Some very notable names have made the list over the past 25 years (in no particular order): Microsoft; Patagonia; the Staubach Co.; Timberland; Jenny Craig Inc.; Gateway; Paychex; Oracle; Domino"s Pizza; Sharper Image; and many others. Last year, only three local (Orlando) companies made the list with only 25 making it from all of Florida, the 6th most populous state for Inc. 500 companies.
If you"ve been reading this blog for a while, then you"re quite aware how cognizant I am that it takes a team to accomplish what we do, day-in and day-out. I couldn"t pretend to take full credit for the Inc. award, and I won"t even try. A HUGE chunk of our success is due to the efforts of our phenomenal employees. Not just to our 951% revenue growth over the past three years.
If and when you care to congratulate us on this major accomplishment, just know that it is ALL of us that you"re complimenting. Business, like many things in life, is made all that more difficult if you choose to go-it-alone. I don"t. None of us here do. We accomplish much more for our Clients, Referral Sources, Investors and ourselves, together as a team, than we ever would apart.
I would like to say, one giant, “THANKS” to Geof, Tony, Trey, Dawn, Sean, Robin, Adam, Nick, Angela, Melissa, Natasha, Sean, Matthew, and Ken! I can never quite say it enough or articulate it in quite the way I mean it… but I want you each to know how VERY Proud I am of you ALL! It"s truly an honor to work with such dedicated, innovative people.
