Great job Chris! Congrats! You are now part of the political blasphemers society. Sad truth is that Central Planning will not encourage small business with more than token programs. The Party apparatus is funded with Big Union bucks and the weight of considerations will always be towards that sphere of influence and political power. It's sad that small S Corp like me turns a profit every year despite many roadblocks and most of the auto companies cannot - regardless of where we are in the macro economic cycle. Yet, those entrepreneurs are still out there trying and sometimes failing despite what the Fed's do or don't do for us. I have to go now because I just received a notice from the IRS saying that I owe them a 10% penalty for a tax payment I made on time - I'll have to contact my small business accountant so he can get to the bottom of this!
Chris, fantastic job! How do you think the increase in ltv on the 7a is going to compare to the 504? Do you think the increase is going to impact the success and or failure of the 504 program. I personally, don't understand why anyone would use the 7a except for maybe a franchisee or a business that is seeking working capital, but the government is offering to the banks a higher guarantee. What are your thoughts and what would you suggest is a way to help a business owner understand the value of moving forward today on purchasing their commercial real estate.
congrats. I think your presentation was very well and to the point. Specially under the strain of limited time. How can I read the answers to the questions above ?

Good show, good answers. That one thing: elemination of capital gains for a short period of time would get everything rolling. They can make it for two years and everything will change almost over night.
What congress is looking at is the loss in taxes that would be generated from No Capital Gains Tax. What they are failing to see is there will be no capital gains if things keep going the way they are; just losses.
Congrads again for a good show.

Congratulations on job well done. Anyone who watched that presentation can get a sense of your passion to help small business owners through these economic times. Thank you for representing the financial interest of every small business in America… Keep up the good work.
Great Job! i hear treasury will be looking for new head soon….lmao-you were even more prepared in that small clip then our gov't is on its best day. is there a place small business can join to show their outrage of the ineffectiveness of the obamination economic policy aka we have a champagne taste with a beer wallet program.? its my belief that small business is what grows this country and the govt cheeseheads are not getting it? if you notice they are only proppping up multi-international albatrosses-why? cause every friggin turd country we are getting money and kick backs from are heavily invested in these companies. and you can see our tax burden means nothing investing our money to china india dubai france germany. whats gonna happen when johnny g.i. comes marchin home- that is if he still has one -and a job???? it'll be johnny and his m-16 marchin on DC!
cHRIS YOU AND YOUR CO ROCK! F- THAT MERGER TRANSACTION -YOUR COMPANY DOESNT NEED THEM.
Chris - Your commentary was appropriate, timely and well said! Pres. Obama's new plan is like recommending the borrower buys down interest rates on loans when you know the borrower plans to refinance before there is a break-even… You can say and demonstrate the borrower will save thousands on interest, so it looks good, but ultimately the borrower saves nothing but pays more. Your Political Class v. Productive Class was perhaps the most intuitive volley challenging the liberal's Wall Street v. Main Street analogy, nice form! Intellectual and useful content as always.

Great job Chris! I agree, those of us small business owners need to be supported and inspired to continue to force money through the economy creating liquidity and in turn creating jobs.
Well prepared.
Great interview Chris and I agree fully about what you said about the fee elimination not making much difference. However, just the fact that SBA has been in the news has brought in a few new borrowers and lenders. Thanks for being our advocate.
Wow!! Great Interview Chris!!!! I think we are same page on many issues!!! I have filed for my own coalition; It is called I am One, But "WE" are the "People"
I watched the clip yesterday and left a comment on your blog. The outcry about the inequity of the treatment is getting stronger. Even members of Congress are surprised at the paltry afterthought toward the small business community.
I also sent the clip to local offices of our congressional delegation.
Chris, this is awesome, you were fantastic…like you've been doing national spots like this your whole life…congrats!!! Thanks so much Robin for sharing, it's good to see the MCC team's hard work paying off so well and the company thriving! I know it is just a sign of the bigger and better things to come for MCC. Congrats again and my best wishes and love to everyone. I miss you all!!!
Great job! In the end, the government needs to turn its attention to the real forgotten middle class, small business! Your views on boosting the economy by placing emphasis on small business job growth is dead on. Too bad Washington hasn't gotten the message yet.
Chris – Hopefully, you will get an opportunity to pitch how beneficial it would be to allow for refinancing in the 504 program. Not refinancing just for expanding businesses (right now those are few and far between) – it would pour capital back into our banks and give small business owners some peace of mind with up to 40% of their exposure at a fixed rate.
Chris, great job. Very eloquent… and RIGHT ON! For the unknowing and unwilling to research, most people would think Obama's plan is a savior for Small Business. $500 in every owner's pocket? "Silly, silly President." See you in Chicago. - Craig
Excellent interview Chris - you articulated your position - your thoughts extremely well. Maybe you should look at doing some "moonlighting" as a HOST on FoxBusiness - they could use your expertise. Bob
Great job Chris! This is in your wheelhouse and you need to become a regular on shows like this and many others because you represent the small business community so well (financing them and being one). I'd go so far as to say you might think about digging in as a policy advisor even more.
Chris -
Way to go! With the time you had allocated, you did an excellent job! You even looked good. Need a hair cut - go to Kennedy's! I echo what Diane Roehrig said earlier. I also have sent this clip out to clients and contacts across the nation. Can't believed that he even asked you if the business owner knows more of what to do with their future than the politicians! He had to be pulling your leg.
Keep up the great work out there for the small business practitioners!
Bob
Congratulations on this exposure. Good plug for small business and it's role in economic development. You and he need to switch places (he's not very good as an interviewer).
… Chris you "done good" excellent delivery, confident, meaningful, believable. Doesn't sound like any real help to allow small business expand. You are so right if a aggressive small business guy has got or can get $'s they will use it to make thier business grow.
I got Emma to record it and watched it last night when I came in. You came across as a guy who knows his stuff and has a clear vision of what the government should be doing to stimulate the economy. I liked the comment about ‘the political class vs the productive class".
The government will never be able to solve the problems that effect small businesses. They're too bogged down in special interest groups and social issues and don't have a grasp of what it takes to create and a run a profitable business.
Your remarks were right on point. Keep on being the advocate and leader you are.
Chris, Good job on your Fox interview and addressing the real issue facing small business owner's lack of access to capital and the SBA programs problems.
