I liked the approach that if a business owner is prudent enough, they can actually level off of the down economy and improve their balance sheet greatly.

It was not just a good article, but a great one and I read it yesterday morning during coffee.

    Hey Chris,
The 504 opportunity is probably the Only bright spot in lending today. Unfortunately many of the business owners that could take advantage of the program and the wealth creation opportunity it affords, either (a) don't know it exists, or, (b)are misinformed as to the difficulty or "hassle factor" of getting a SBA deal done today compared to a conventional loan. Another challenge that I see in my market on a daily basis with mid-sized to smaller businesses, is that they seem much more susceptible to the constant bombardment of negative news from the media. When the "fear factor" is present, they shut themselves off to opportunity, regardless if the numbers prove out.
    Keep getting the word out!
Thanks from Boston. (Home of the soon-to-be World Champions Again, Red Sox)
