The idea for The Education Factory grew out of a lunch meeting in August of 2005. The principals of the company have been technology instructors for many years, and the idea of developing a self-paced bite sized technology system seemed an intriguing one. Their current educational system offers one-day-a-week (typically 5-8 hours on Saturday), six-week-long technology courses in the A+ and Network+ certification area. In addition to A+ and Network+ areas, the company is knowledgeable in other topics, such as Mathematics, Programming, Operating Systems, HTI (Home/Business Technology Integration), Computer Theory and Computer Architecture.
