Mercantile Commercial Capital, LLC, the five-year-old firm that specializes in U.S. Small Business Administration 504 loans for business owners, was recently named “Business of the Year” by the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce during the Chamber"s recent Chamber Choice Awards. The Chamber"s Business of the Year award recognizes businesses that demonstrate outstanding growth, sales and significance in Seminole County. Christopher G. Hurn, president and chief executive officer of Mercantile Commercial Capital, said the firm closed on 22 commercial loans that totaled more than $35.3 million since January of this year.
The firm"s revenues are up more than 8 percent over the first half of 2007, while profits are up nearly 5 percent . . . even in this difficult economy.
