Abby Martin - Finance Intern Summer 2008
program

Abby joined MCC as a finance intern in May 2008. Her responsibilities include loan analysis and preparing credit presentations. She is working on her M.B.A with a concentration in Finance from Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business. She graduated from the University of Florida in Spring 2008 with a B.S in Marketing and minors in Entrepreneurship and Mass Communications. Abbey is an avid reader, video game enthusiast, and knits.

Alex traveled all the way from Arizonia to work with us as a summer intern on the marketing team. Alex is studying Business and Marketing at Arizona State University. When she is not studying or attending class she is the head coach of the girls lacrosse team at Chaparral High school in Scottsdale.

Nicole started as a finance intern with MCC in June 2008. Her responsibilities include loan underwriting and preparing credit presentations. She is a sophomore at Rollins College working towards her B.S in International Relations and Political Science. She is the Student Coordinator of Community Service for J.U.M.P., a non-profit organization located in Winter Park.

 
Stefan Zelich - Sales Intern, Summer 2008

Stefan has joined us for the summer semester as a sales intern from The Ohio University Sales Centre. Stefan is responsible for generating new business and building stronger relationships between MCC and its referral sources. He is a senior at Ohio University working on his B.S in Business Administration, with majors in Accounting, and Finance with minors in Sales, and Spanish. He is the Financial Sales Representative for the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre at Ohio University and is responsible for planning their quarterly events.

“At MCC it was important for me to align myself with my coworkers in the office. Everyone cares and is passionate about their positions within the company and I had to match that same level of performance. I have learned what it takes to make it as a small company in the Financial Services industry and more specifically the niche of commercial lending. I will take everything I have gained from my experience at MCC and apply it to all of my future endeavors. Kristen is a senior at Ohio University working on her B.A in Finance, and Marketing. She is working towards achieving a Financial Services certificate from the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre. She is also involved in Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity. She is with us for the summer semester as a sales intern, helping us generate new business and build stronger relationships with our referral sources.

Will is a marketing intern with responsibilities in general marketing, and research. This fall he will be a freshman at Stetson University working towards his B.S in Finance and plans to minor in Music. He was Valedictorian for the 2008 Class of Orlando Christian Prep. In his spare time he is an assistant leader for a kayaking group, “Adventures in Florida” and is in the process of training to lead his own group. He also plays the saxophone and harmonica.

Sam was brought on as a finance intern. He is currently a junior at the University of Central Florida and is pursuing a degree in finance. He will be graduating in May 2009. Sam is a Bright Futures Scholarship recipient and is actively in intramural sports.

Yelena was hired as a Finance Intern in August, 2007. Her main responsibilities include loan underwriting and financial analysis. Yelena was born in Russia and finished high school in Orlando, FL. She has an Associates degree from Valencia Community College in Business Administration. Currently she is pursuing a B.S. degree in Finance and minor in Accounting at the University of Central Florida. She is a recipient of Bright Future Scholarship and a member of Tau Sigma, National Honor Society for Transfer Students.

Jon was an intern during the 2006 summer semester, and he is a senior at Greenville College in Illinois. His main responsibilities at MCC were direct mail, research, and web-site maintenance. Jon is part of the Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda, and was also voted into “Who’s Who Amongst American College and University Students” by his classmates.

As a Marketing Intern, Sean was responsible for general marketing and advertising.  He is a junior at the University of Central Florida and will be graduating with a Liberal Studies major focusing on Advertising and Business, with a minor in European and Judaic Studies in May of 2007.  Sean is a Bright Futures Scholarship Recipient as well as a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

She was a Bright Future recipient, on the Dean’s list for the college of Business, a member of Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity and a National Society of Collegiate Scholar. Meggie was chosen to represent Orlando at the First ever American Dream Team Program. She is fluent in Spanish.

Markisha was a Marketing Intern for MCC during the Spring semester of 2006 and assisted with marketing research and direct mail.  She began working for MCC full time as our Administrative Assistant in May of 2006 while attending the University of Central Florida. She is working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and plans to graduate in December of 2006. She is married to Omar and has three wonderful children.

As a finance intern with MCC, he works in loan underwriting.  He is currently enrolled at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and has made the Dean’s List. He will earn his MBA degree with concentrations in Finance and International Business in 2006. Graduating as a magna cum laude, he earned his B.S. in Computer Science and Economics degrees at Truman State University, MO. Stefan is a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon International Honor Society in Economics.

Ty's responsibilities included marketing and advertising as well as market research. She was an intern for the spring semester in 2005 from the University of Central Florida. Ty was a junior who was pursuing a B.S. degree in Marketing and Management. She expects to graduate in the Summer of 2006. Ty is also the co-founder of Club Ekklesia, a Christian nightspot at UCF.  She is currently an intern at Lockheed Martin this Summer.

Doug worked as an intern for the company during the summer semester of 2004. His duties included loan packaging, loan closing coordination and client services. He was working toward his B.S. degree in Finance with a minor in International Business. Doug graduated in December 2004 from the University of Central Florida.

Blake, a student at Boston College, spent his summer semester in 2004 working with MCC. His primary duties were in marketing, advertising and finance. Blake, who is ranked second in his class at Boston College, is working towards a B.S. degrees in both Finance and French. He is currently an intern at Citigroup in Boston, and has been offered a full-time position after his expected graduation date in May of 2006.
